Staff Selection Commission of India is assigned the various task related to advertising, examination and recruitment of suitable candidates for government departments and organizations. In addition of all India level examination SSC also conduct departmental examination for Promotion from LDC to UDC Grade, promotion of group D to LDC grade and Promotion of Stenographers Grade D to Stenographers Grade C as well as holding periodical Hindi and English Typewriting Tests.

One can also get to know about the latest call letters / skill test for All India Examination or Departmental Tests. Recently, Hall Tickets for Recruitment of Post of Constable [GD] in CAPF's and Rifleman in Assam Rifles 2012 have been uploaded and candidates who have applied for this examination can download their admit cards.
