Educational Qualification:- 
OSDs (Deputy Secretary/Under Secretary Equivalent):- 
Eligibility:  Retired central Government officers.
Essential: Possessing 15 years experience in dealing with establishment and administration in supervisory capacity in ministries departments under central government.

OSDs ( Section Officer Equivalent):-
Eligibility: Retired Central Government officers.
Essential: Possessing 12 years experience in dealing with establishment and administration in supervisory capacity in ministries departments under central government.

Age Limit: maximum 63 years

Pay Scale: (i) PB-3, grade pay- Rs. 7600/6600, (ii) PB-3, grade pay-54/PB-2, grade pay- Rs. 4800/-.
